Ingredients:

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (0.6ml)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (50g)
  • Optional: A sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Cooked sausage
  • Diced bell peppers
  • Sliced mushrooms
  • Black olives
  • Diced onions
  • Cooked chicken
  • Pineapple chunks

Instructions:

  1. Lay the tortilla flat in a large skillet (or on a baking sheet if using an oven).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the tomato sauce, oregano, and garlic powder. Spread evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border.
  3. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. Add a touch of parmesan if desired.
  4. Arrange your desired toppings over the cheese.
  5. Skillet Method: Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tortilla is lightly golden and crispy on the bottom. Watch carefully to prevent burning. Oven Method: Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the tortilla is crispy.
  6. Remove from the skillet (or oven). Let cool slightly, then cut into wedges and serve immediately.
