Ingredients:

  • cup ripe or frozen Mango Chunks
  • oz Blanco Tequila (100% Agave)
  • oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • oz Cointreau or Triple Sec (Orange Liqueur)
  • oz Agave Nectar or Simple Syrup (or to taste)
  • cup Ice Cubes
  • Tbsp Coarse Salt (for rim)
  • Pinch of Tajín seasoning (optional, for rim)
  • Lime Wedges (for rimming and garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Rim (If using): Mix salt and optional seasoning on a shallow plate. Take a lime wedge and moisten the outer rim of the two serving glasses. Gently dip the moistened rim into the salt mixture, rotating to coat evenly. Set glasses aside.
  2. Assemble Ingredients: Place the mango chunks, tequila, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave nectar into the blender carafe.
  3. Add Ice: Add the ice cubes (reduce ice slightly if using pre-frozen mango).
  4. Blend: Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and has a slushy consistency, scraping down the sides if necessary. Taste Check: Adjust sweetener or lime juice now if the flavour isn't hitting the spot.
  5. Serve: Pour the mixture immediately into the prepared, salt-rimmed glasses.
  6. Garnish: Garnish with a thin wheel or wedge of fresh mango or lime. Serve straight away.
