Ingredients:
- 6 packages (3 ounces/85g each) flavored gelatin (assorted colors)
- 6 cups (1.4 liters) boiling water
- 1 can (14 ounces/397g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup (240 ml) boiling water
- 2 envelopes (0.25 ounce/7g each) unflavored gelatin
Instructions:
- Dissolve one package of flavored gelatin in one cup of boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly. Refrigerate for at least one hour, or until firm but not completely set.
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 with the remaining flavored gelatin, layering each color on top of the previous one. Ensure each layer is partially set before adding the next to prevent mixing.
- Sprinkle unflavored gelatin over 1/2 cup of cold water in a small bowl; let stand for 1 minute. Add 1 cup of boiling water to the gelatin mixture, stirring until gelatin is completely dissolved. Stir in the condensed milk.
- Let the creamy gelatin cool slightly. Gently pour the cooled condensed milk mixture over the final Jello layer. Spread evenly with a spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until completely firm.
- Cut the finger jello into squares. Serve chilled.
