Ingredients:

  • 1 (14 ounce/397g) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups (355ml) cold milk, whole or 2% preferred
  • 1 (3.4 ounce/96g) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces (227g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (12 ounce/340g) box vanilla wafers
  • 3-4 ripe bananas, sliced

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk and cold milk until smooth. Whisk in the vanilla pudding mix until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture, beating until well combined.
  4. Line the bottom of the dish with vanilla wafers. Top with a layer of sliced bananas. Spread a layer of pudding mixture over the bananas.
  5. Repeat the layers (wafers, bananas, pudding) until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding.
  6. Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably longer.
