Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (about 1 lb/450g)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (15ml)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5g)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (5g)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream (240ml)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (50g)
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (60g)
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese (30g)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (28g)
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic (2 cloves)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (120g)
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shredded chicken and season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and heat until warmed through. Remove from heat.
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in heavy cream, cream cheese, and simmer gently. Whisk in Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the seasoned chicken and Alfredo sauce. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle additional shredded mozzarella cheese over the top. Bake in preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve.
