Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken (about 1 lb/450g)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15ml)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5g)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (5g)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream (240ml)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (50g)
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (60g)
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese (30g)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (28g)
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic (2 cloves)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (120g)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add shredded chicken and season with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and heat until warmed through. Remove from heat.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in heavy cream, cream cheese, and simmer gently. Whisk in Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the seasoned chicken and Alfredo sauce. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle additional shredded mozzarella cheese over the top. Bake in preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden.
  5. Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve.
