Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring the florets are not overcrowded to prevent steaming.
- Roast for 10 minutes, or until the tips of the florets are dark brown and slightly charred.
- Remove the pan from the oven and immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with lemon zest and Parmesan cheese. Toss directly on the pan to coat.
