Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp fresh lemon zest
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the fresh broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the broccoli in a single layer across a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring space between florets to prevent steaming.
- Roast for 12–15 minutes until the tips are deep mahogany brown and the stems are tender.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with lemon zest and grated Parmesan.
- Drizzle with fresh lemon juice and toss gently with tongs to coat before serving.
