Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp (16-20 count), peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
Instructions:
- Pat the shrimp completely dry with paper towels until no visible moisture remains to ensure a snappy crust.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil until evenly coated and glistening.
- Sprinkle the sea salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and onion powder over the shrimp. Toss again to ensure every crevice is coated.
- Place the seasoned shrimp in the air fryer basket in a strict single layer to allow for 360-degree airflow.
- Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 4 minutes.
- Open the basket and use tongs to flip each shrimp, then cook for an additional 3–4 minutes until they are vibrant pink and opaque.
- Remove immediately from the air fryer to prevent overcooking and maintain juiciness.
