Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp (16-20 count), peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

Instructions:

  1. Pat the shrimp completely dry with paper towels until no visible moisture remains to ensure a snappy crust.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil until evenly coated and glistening.
  3. Sprinkle the sea salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and onion powder over the shrimp. Toss again to ensure every crevice is coated.
  4. Place the seasoned shrimp in the air fryer basket in a strict single layer to allow for 360-degree airflow.
  5. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 4 minutes.
  6. Open the basket and use tongs to flip each shrimp, then cook for an additional 3–4 minutes until they are vibrant pink and opaque.
  7. Remove immediately from the air fryer to prevent overcooking and maintain juiciness.
