Ingredients:

  • 1 can (13.5 oz / 400 ml) full-fat coconut milk (chilled)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: shredded coconut, fresh berries, or chocolate shavings

Instructions:

  1. Refrigerate the can of coconut milk overnight for best results.
  2. Choose a mixing bowl thats sufficiently deep for whisking.
  3. Carefully open the chilled coconut milk can and scoop out the solidified cream into the mixing bowl, leaving the liquid behind.
  4. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the coconut cream.
  5. Whisk the mixture by hand or with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Taste the cream and adjust sweetness if desired.
  7. Spoon the whipped coconut cream into serving dishes and top with optional toppings.
