Ingredients:
- 1 cup (227g) Unsalted Butter, softened
- 6 cloves Garlic, minced (about 2 tablespoons)
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Chives, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper, freshly ground
- 1/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Gently melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat or in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until just melted. Don't let it brown!
- For a richer, more complex flavour, sauté the minced garlic in the melted butter over low heat for 2-3 minutes, until fragrant but not browned.
- In a mixing bowl, add the melted butter (and sautéed garlic, if using), parsley, chives, salt, pepper, garlic powder (if using), and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Stir everything together thoroughly until evenly combined.
- For a firmer, spreadable butter, transfer to an airtight container or ramekins and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes. This allows the flavours to meld.
- Spread on bread, drizzle over food, or melt into sauces! Serve and enjoy ultimate garlic butter.
