  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or lightly grease them.
  2. In a very large mixing bowl, gently combine the Corn Chex, Rice Chex, pretzels, and nuts.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Whisk in the Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is uniform. Do not let it boil.
  4. Pour the entire butter mixture evenly over the dry cereal/nut mixture. Gently fold and toss the ingredients until every piece is lightly coated.
  5. Divide the coated mixture evenly between the prepared baking sheets, spreading the mix into a single, thin layer. Do not overcrowd the sheets.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove sheets from the oven, gently stir the mix on each sheet to ensure even toasting, and return to the oven for another 25–30 minutes.
  7. Turn the oven off. Leave the baking sheets inside the cooling oven for at least 20 minutes, with the door slightly ajar, to cool and crisp up fully.
  8. Once completely cool, transfer the Ultimate Christmas Countdown Chex Mix to an airtight container for storage.
