Ingredients:

  • 6 oz freshly brewed hot coffee
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1.5 oz Irish Whiskey
  • 2 oz cold heavy whipping cream
  • 1 pinch grated nutmeg

Instructions:

  1. Temper the vessel by filling a glass with boiling water; let sit for 1 minute, then discard water and dry.
  2. Build the base by pouring hot coffee into the glass until 3/4 full. Add brown sugar and stir vigorously until dissolved, then stir in the Irish whiskey.
  3. Froth the cold heavy cream for 5–10 seconds until thickened but pourable. Pour slowly over the back of a spoon held just above the coffee surface to float the cream.
