Ingredients:

  • Tablespoons Coarse Sea Salt or Margarita Salt (for rim)
  • Lime Wedge (for moistening rim)
  • cup Frozen Mango Chunks (Approx. 160g)
  • fl oz (45 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
  • fl oz (30 ml) Orange Liqueur (Cointreau or Triple Sec)
  • fl oz (60 ml) Blanco Tequila (100% Agave)
  • fl oz (15 ml) Agave Nectar or Simple Syrup (adjust to taste)
  • cup Ice Cubes (if using fresh mango)
  • Lime Wheels or Wedges (for garnish)
  • Small Mango Cubes (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Rims: Run a lime wedge around the outer rim of your two chosen glasses. Gently dip the outer edge of the rim into the coarse salt on a shallow plate. Set aside.
  2. Measure & Load: In a high-powered blender, combine the frozen mango chunks, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, tequila, and agave nectar/simple syrup.
  3. Blend: Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and slushy, stopping to scrape down the sides if necessary. If too thick, add a tablespoon of water or extra tequila.
  4. Taste Test: Taste the mixture. Adjust sweetness by adding more agave or tartness by adding a squeeze more lime as required.
  5. Serve: Fill your prepared, rimmed glasses with fresh ice (only if you used fresh, not frozen, mango). Pour the blended Mango Margarita mixture evenly between the two glasses.
  6. Garnish: Garnish each glass elegantly with a lime wheel and a small spear of fresh mango. Serve immediately.
