Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika (30 ml)
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder (15 ml)
- 1 tablespoon onion powder (15 ml)
- 1 tablespoon dried dill (15 ml)
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme (10 ml)
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar (5 ml)
- 1 teaspoon sea salt (5 ml)
- ½ teaspoon black pepper (2.5 ml)
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (1.25 ml) (optional)
- 4 salmon fillets
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Instructions:
- Combine all seasoning ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until thoroughly combined. Store in an airtight container.
- For Basic Baked Salmon: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet. Place salmon fillets on the sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salmon seasoning. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
- For Zesty Marinade Salmon: Whisk lemon juice, olive oil, and seasoning. Marinate salmon fillets for 30 minutes to 2 hours. Grill, pan-sear, or bake until cooked through.
- For Honey Glazed Salmon: Whisk honey, soy sauce, and seasoning. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake salmon for around 8-10 minutes. Brush honey glaze on top and bake until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.
