Ingredients:

  • Coarse Salt or Tajín seasoning (for rim)
  • Lime Wedges
  • cup Ripe Mango, cubed (approx. 200g)
  • oz Fresh Lime Juice (45 ml)
  • oz Cointreau or Triple Sec (22.5 ml)
  • oz Blanco/Silver Tequila (60 ml)
  • - 0.75 oz Simple Syrup (15 - 22.5 ml), adjusted to taste
  • cups Ice Cubes (approx. 350g)

Instructions:

  1. Moisten the rim of your serving glasses using a lime wedge. Gently dip the outer edge of the rim into the coarse salt or Tajín mixture set on a shallow plate. Set aside.
  2. Place the cubed mango, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup into the blender pitcher.
  3. Pour in the tequila and orange liqueur over the fruit mixture.
  4. Add the ice cubes to the blender. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until completely smooth and slushy consistency is achieved (about 30-45 seconds).
  5. Taste the mixture. If the mango was not very sweet, add a touch more simple syrup and pulse briefly to combine.
  6. Fill the prepared, rimmed glasses with fresh ice (if not serving blended slush). Pour the blended margarita mixture over the ice.
  7. Garnish each glass with a thin slice of fresh mango or a lime wheel perched on the rim. Serve immediately.
