Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet (14.1 oz / 400g) frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 ounces (225g) Brie cheese, rind removed, cut into 24 equal-sized cubes
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds or sesame seeds (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Gently unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut the puff pastry into 24 equal-sized squares.
  4. Place a cube of brie in the center of each square.
  5. Bring the corners of each square together over the brie, pinching to seal the edges securely.
  6. Brush the tops of the brie bites with the beaten egg. Sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds, if desired.
  7. Arrange the brie bites on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
  8. Warm the honey slightly. Drizzle the brie bites immediately with the honey. Serve warm.
