Ingredients:
- 1 sheet (14.1 oz / 400g) frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 8 ounces (225g) Brie cheese, rind removed, cut into 24 equal-sized cubes
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds or sesame seeds (optional)
- 2 tablespoons honey
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Gently unfold the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
- Use a pizza cutter or sharp knife to cut the puff pastry into 24 equal-sized squares.
- Place a cube of brie in the center of each square.
- Bring the corners of each square together over the brie, pinching to seal the edges securely.
- Brush the tops of the brie bites with the beaten egg. Sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds, if desired.
- Arrange the brie bites on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
- Warm the honey slightly. Drizzle the brie bites immediately with the honey. Serve warm.
