Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, or Albariño)
  • ½ cup (120 ml) brandy
  • ½ cup (120 ml) orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Triple Sec)
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) simple syrup (or to taste)
  • 1 green apple, cored and diced (approx. 150g)
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced (approx. 200g)
  • 1 cup (150g) green grapes, halved
  • 1 cup (150g) strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • ½ cup (75g) blueberries
  • 1/2 cup (50g) fresh mint leaves, lightly bruised
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) sparkling water or club soda, chilled

Instructions:

  1. Wash, dry, and prepare the fruit as instructed in the ingredient list.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and simple syrup.
  3. Add the diced apple, sliced orange, halved grapes, sliced strawberries, blueberries, and bruised mint leaves to the pitcher.
  4. Gently stir the mixture to combine all the ingredients.
  5. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Just before serving, top the sangria with chilled sparkling water or club soda. Add more if desired for preferred sweetness and fizz.
  7. Serve the White Sangria chilled, garnished with fresh mint sprigs or a slice of orange.
