Ingredients:
- 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, or Albariño)
- ½ cup (120 ml) brandy
- ½ cup (120 ml) orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Triple Sec)
- ¼ cup (60 ml) simple syrup (or to taste)
- 1 green apple, cored and diced (approx. 150g)
- 1 orange, thinly sliced (approx. 200g)
- 1 cup (150g) green grapes, halved
- 1 cup (150g) strawberries, hulled and sliced
- ½ cup (75g) blueberries
- 1/2 cup (50g) fresh mint leaves, lightly bruised
- 1 bottle (750 ml) sparkling water or club soda, chilled
Instructions:
- Wash, dry, and prepare the fruit as instructed in the ingredient list.
- In a large pitcher, combine the white wine, brandy, orange liqueur, and simple syrup.
- Add the diced apple, sliced orange, halved grapes, sliced strawberries, blueberries, and bruised mint leaves to the pitcher.
- Gently stir the mixture to combine all the ingredients.
- Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
- Just before serving, top the sangria with chilled sparkling water or club soda. Add more if desired for preferred sweetness and fizz.
- Serve the White Sangria chilled, garnished with fresh mint sprigs or a slice of orange.
