Ingredients:
- 1 cup Plain Full-Fat Greek Yogurt
- 4 oz Cream Cheese, softened to room temperature
- 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar (sifted)
- 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Zest
- 1/4 teaspoon Fresh Orange Zest
- 1–2 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup (to taste)
- Pinch of Fine Sea Salt
Instructions:
- Ensure the cream cheese is completely soft. If it is cold, microwave it gently for 10-15 seconds until pliable but not melted.
- In the mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese vigorously with the whisk or electric mixer until light and fluffy (about 2 minutes).
- Beat in the sifted powdered sugar, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and orange zest until fully incorporated and smooth. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
- Gently fold in the Greek yogurt using a rubber spatula. Do not overmix; maintain the airiness.
- Stir in the honey/maple syrup, starting with 1 tablespoon. Taste the dip and add the remaining sweetener only if necessary. Add the tiny pinch of salt.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the citrus flavours to meld beautifully.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, garnish with an extra whisper of zest if desired, and serve alongside your chosen fresh fruit.
