Ingredients:
- 12 fresh jalapeños (medium-sized)
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 slices bacon (cooked and crumbled)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wearing gloves, slice each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes using a small spoon. Set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Using a small spoon or a piping bag, fill each jalapeño half with the cheese and bacon mixture.
- Place the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the jalapeños are tender and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, let cool briefly, garnish with fresh cilantro if desired, and serve warm.
