Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) avocado oil
  • ½ tsp (2.5g) kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp (1.25g) black pepper
  • 1 tsp (5g) smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp (2.5g) garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp (1.25g) cayenne pepper
  • ¼ tsp (1.25g) red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with avocado oil until every nook and cranny is glistening.
  3. Sprinkle in the salt and pepper, tossing again to ensure total coverage.
  4. Add the smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, and red pepper flakes. Stir vigorously until the broccoli is coated in a vibrant, reddish-orange hue.
  5. Spread the florets on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  6. Roast for 15–20 minutes until the tips look charred and crispy-dark.
