Ingredients:
- 3 ripe avocados (170-225g each)
- 1/2 small red onion, finely diced (30g)
- 1-2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely minced (15-30g)
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (coriander) (10g)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (30ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (2.5g)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin (1.25g)
- Pinch of black pepper
Instructions:
- Halve avocados, remove pits, and scoop flesh into the bowl.
- Using a fork, mash the avocados to your desired consistency (chunky or smooth).
- Add diced red onion, jalapeño (if using), cilantro, lime juice, salt, cumin (if using), and pepper to the bowl.
- Gently mix all ingredients until well combined.
- Taste and adjust salt, lime juice, or jalapeño to your liking. Serve immediately or chill for later.
