Ingredients:

  • 8 oz (225 g) spaghetti, cooked al dente
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup (100 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp (5 g) salt
  • 1/2 tsp (2 g) black pepper
  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef or Italian sausage
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz or 425 g) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 cup (240 ml) marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp (3 g) Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups (200 g) shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. Boil water, cook spaghetti until al dente; drain and cool.
  2. In a bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, eggs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper; mix well.
  3. Press spaghetti mixture into a greased pie dish or springform pan to form an even crust.
  4. In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant; add ground beef/sausage and brown.
  5. Stir in diced tomatoes, marinara sauce, and Italian seasoning; simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Spoon meat mixture into spaghetti crust; top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C); bake for 30 minutes or until golden and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Allow pie to cool slightly before slicing; serve warm.
