Ingredients:
- 8 oz (225 g) spaghetti, cooked al dente
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup (100 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp (5 g) salt
- 1/2 tsp (2 g) black pepper
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz or 425 g) diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 cup (240 ml) marinara sauce
- 1 tsp (3 g) Italian seasoning
- 2 cups (200 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
- Boil water, cook spaghetti until al dente; drain and cool.
- In a bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, eggs, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Press spaghetti mixture into a greased pie dish or springform pan to form an even crust.
- In a skillet, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant; add ground beef/sausage and brown.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, marinara sauce, and Italian seasoning; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spoon meat mixture into spaghetti crust; top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C); bake for 30 minutes or until golden and cheese is bubbly.
- Allow pie to cool slightly before slicing; serve warm.
