Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs turkey tenderloin
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, thyme, rosemary, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Coat the turkey tenderloin with the herb mixture, ensuring an even coverage.
- Place the turkey on a baking tray and roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
- While the turkey is roasting, melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in lemon zest and juice, cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
- Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C); remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Slice the turkey and drizzle with the garlic lemon sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley.
