Ingredients:
- 2 cups Bisquick mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the milk and egg until fully combined.
- In another bowl, combine the Bisquick mix, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Fold in the crumbled sausage, shredded cheese, and chopped green onions (if using) until evenly distributed.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup 2/3 full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Serve warm.
