Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets, roughly the size of a walnut, to ensure even roasting.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss thoroughly until all florets are evenly coated.
- Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the baking sheet, leaving space between florets to allow them to roast rather than steam.
- Roast for 18–22 minutes until the edges are deep golden-brown and the broccoli has a nutty aroma.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese or drizzle with fresh lemon juice while sizzling.
