Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) fresh broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp (30ml) extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves (15g) garlic, minced
- ½ tsp (3g) kosher salt
- ¼ tsp (1g) freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss vigorously until every nook and cranny of the florets is glistening with oil.
- Spread the broccoli in a single layer on a prepared baking sheet. Ensure the florets are not touching to allow for maximum air circulation.
- Roast for 15–20 minutes until the tips of the florets turn a dark, toasted brown and the stems are fork-tender.
- Remove from the oven immediately to stop the cooking process and maintain crispness.
