Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp (30ml) extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp (3g) kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp (1g) black pepper
- 2 tbsp (12g) everything bagel seasoning mix
- 1 tbsp (15ml) fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Ensure broccoli florets are completely dry after washing to prevent steaming.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the broccoli florets with extra virgin olive oil, kosher salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the coated broccoli on the baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 18-22 minutes until the tips are charred (mahogany edges) and stems are tender.
- Remove the pan from the oven and immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice. Sprinkle the everything bagel seasoning mix evenly across the top and toss gently on the pan to adhere.
