Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (45g) rolled oats
- 1 cup (240ml) milk
- 1/4 cup (60g) Greek yogurt
- 1 scoop (30g) vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 tablespoon (15g) peanut butter (natural)
- 1/2 medium banana, mashed
- Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 tablespoon (15g) chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup (75g) mixed berries
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
Instructions:
- In each mason jar, add the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, protein powder, chia seeds, and honey/maple syrup (if using).
- Stir well until all ingredients are combined and the protein powder is evenly distributed.
- Peanut Butter Banana: Stir in peanut butter, mashed banana, and cinnamon (if using).
- Chocolate Almond: Stir in cocoa powder and almond extract.
- Berry Blast: Stir in mixed berries and lemon zest (if using). Gently mash some of the berries with the back of a spoon.
- Seal each jar tightly with a lid.
- Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or preferably overnight.
- Give the oats a good stir before eating. Add additional toppings if desired.
