Ingredients:

  • 1 lb frozen broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place a large rimmed baking sheet inside the oven while it preheats to ensure the pan is hot.
  2. Carefully remove the hot pan from the oven and line it with parchment paper.
  3. Pour the frozen broccoli florets directly onto the pan. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the broccoli in a single layer with ample space between florets. Roast for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until edges are deep mahogany brown.
  5. Remove pan and sprinkle evenly with grated Parmesan cheese. Return to oven for 2–3 minutes or broil for 60 seconds until cheese is bubbling and golden.
  6. Drizzle with fresh lemon juice immediately before serving.
