Ingredients:

  • 1 lb fresh broccoli florets, cut into uniform bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the broccoli under cold water and pat completely dry with paper towels or use a salad spinner to ensure maximum crispiness.
  2. Place the dry florets in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle in the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss thoroughly until every floret is evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C). Arrange the broccoli in the basket in a single layer, though a slight overlap is acceptable.
  4. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket vigorously halfway through, until the tips are mahogany-colored and fragrant.
  5. Immediately after removing from the air fryer, toss the broccoli with grated Parmesan cheese, fresh lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
