Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh broccoli florets, cut into uniform bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- pinch of red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Rinse the broccoli under cold water and pat completely dry with paper towels or use a salad spinner to ensure maximum crispiness.
- Place the dry florets in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle in the salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss thoroughly until every floret is evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C). Arrange the broccoli in the basket in a single layer, though a slight overlap is acceptable.
- Air fry for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket vigorously halfway through, until the tips are mahogany-colored and fragrant.
- Immediately after removing from the air fryer, toss the broccoli with grated Parmesan cheese, fresh lemon juice, and red pepper flakes.
