Ingredients:

  • 1 medium ripe banana (about 120g / 4.2 oz)
  • 1 cup (240 ml / 8 fl oz) milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons (32g / 1.1 oz) peanut butter
  • 1 scoop (approx. 30g / 1 oz) vanilla or unflavored protein powder
  • ½ cup (75g / 2.6 oz) ice cubes
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon (5 ml / 0.17 fl oz) honey or maple syrup
  • Optional: ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Add the banana, milk, peanut butter, protein powder, ice cubes, and optional sweetener (honey or maple syrup) and cinnamon to the blender.
  2. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Add more milk if needed to reach desired consistency.
  3. Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or peanut butter flavor as desired.
  4. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately. This is one of the best high protein smoothies!
