Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil (or vegetable oil)
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions:
- In a large pot, add 1 tablespoon of butter and 1/2 cup popcorn kernels for classic butter & sea salt popcorn. Cover and heat over medium-high heat. Shake occasionally, then remove from heat when popping slows.
- Pour the classic popcorn into a bowl, drizzle with remaining melted butter, and sprinkle with sea salt.
- For spicy chili lime popcorn, heat 2 tablespoons coconut oil in a separate pot, add 1/2 cup popcorn kernels, shake occasionally, and remove when popping slows. Mix chili powder, lime zest, and sea salt. Drizzle lime juice over popcorn, add spice mix, and toss to coat.
- For sweet cinnamon sugar popcorn, melt 4 tablespoons butter in another pot, add 1/2 cup kernels, cover, and shake. When popping slows, remove from heat. Mix sugar, cinnamon, and sea salt. Drizzle over popcorn, toss to coat.
- Serve each popcorn flavor in separate bowls or create a sampler platter for a fun mix of popcorn flavors.
