  • 1 tbsp (15g) sour cream
  • 3 tbsp (45g) sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tbsp (15g) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp (15g) minced white onion
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
  • 1/8 tsp (0.5g) black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Chop the white onion until the pieces are tiny and uniform, almost like a coarse powder.
  2. Whisk mayonnaise and lemon juice together in your mixing bowl until the mixture is smooth and glossy.
  3. Whisk gently until the sour cream is fully incorporated into the base.
  4. Use a spoon to stir in the relish until evenly distributed.
  5. Fold the onions in carefully so they don't settle at the bottom.
  6. Sprinkle in the salt and stir once more.
  7. Add the pepper for a hint of warmth.
  8. Taste a small amount and add an extra drop of lemon if you want more 'zing.'
