Instructions:

- Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip using a spatula until no white streaks remain.
- Spread a single layer of vanilla wafers across the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Top the cookies with a layer of sliced bananas, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
- Pour one-third of the pudding mixture over the bananas, smoothing it out with a spatula.
- Repeat the wafer, banana, and pudding layers two more times.
- Smooth the top layer of pudding and garnish with wafer halves or extra whipped cream.
- Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour until the top feels firm.
