  • 2 cups cold whole milk
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 box (11 oz) vanilla wafers
  • 5 large ripe bananas, sliced

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold whole milk for about 2 minutes until the mixture begins to thicken.
  2. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until the base is smooth and glossy.
  3. Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip using a spatula until no white streaks remain.
  4. Spread a single layer of vanilla wafers across the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  5. Top the cookies with a layer of sliced bananas, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  6. Pour one-third of the pudding mixture over the bananas, smoothing it out with a spatula.
  7. Repeat the wafer, banana, and pudding layers two more times.
  8. Smooth the top layer of pudding and garnish with wafer halves or extra whipped cream.
  9. Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour until the top feels firm.
