Ingredients:
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (45 ml)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (30 ml)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika (2 g)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (3 g)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1 g)
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined (450 g)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- Lemon wedges (optional)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade. Toss to coat evenly. Let sit for 10 minutes for optimal flavor infusion.
- Place a skillet on medium-high heat and allow it to warm for about 2 minutes.
- Add marinated shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 120°F (49°C).
- Remove shrimp from heat and garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges. Serve immediately with your choice of side.
