Ingredients:

  • 4 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (15ml), freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill (5ml)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (2.5ml)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (1.25ml), or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1.25ml), freshly ground
  • Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, dill, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place salmon fillets on the baking sheet (line with parchment paper for easy clean-up). Pour the marinade evenly over the salmon.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  5. Garnish with lemon slices (optional). Serve immediately.
