Ingredients:

  • 4 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon/15 ml olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon/5 ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 teaspoon/2.5 ml garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon/1.25 ml onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon/1.25 ml paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or dill, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle the salmon fillets with olive oil and lemon juice. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  5. Let the salmon rest for a minute or two before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or dill, if desired.
