Ingredients:
- 4 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 1 tablespoon/15 ml olive oil
- 1 teaspoon/5 ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1/2 teaspoon/2.5 ml garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon/1.25 ml onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon/1.25 ml paprika
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley or dill, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle the salmon fillets with olive oil and lemon juice. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
- Let the salmon rest for a minute or two before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or dill, if desired.
