Ingredients:
- 1.5 lbs Salmon fillet, skin on or off
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Lemon, zested and juiced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Fresh herbs, chopped (parsley, dill, thyme)
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper.
- Place salmon fillet on the prepared baking sheet. Pour marinade evenly over the salmon.
- Bake for 12-18 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). The salmon should be opaque and flake easily with a fork.
- Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving.
