Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs Salmon fillet, skin on or off
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Lemon, zested and juiced
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Fresh herbs, chopped (parsley, dill, thyme)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped herbs, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place salmon fillet on the prepared baking sheet. Pour marinade evenly over the salmon.
  4. Bake for 12-18 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). The salmon should be opaque and flake easily with a fork.
  5. Let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving.
