Ingredients:
- 2 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 1 tablespoon/15ml olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon/2.5ml sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon/1.25ml black pepper, freshly ground
- 1/2 teaspoon/2.5ml garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon/1.25ml paprika (optional)
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions:
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder (if using), and paprika (if using).
- Brush the oil mixture over both sides of the salmon fillets.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down (if using skin-on) in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Cook for 8-12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
- Use an instant-read thermometer to check the internal temperature.
- Remove the salmon from the air fryer and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
