Ingredients:

  • 2 (6-ounce/170g) salmon fillets, skin on or off
  • 1 tablespoon/15ml olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon/2.5ml sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon/1.25ml black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon/2.5ml garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon/1.25ml paprika (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder (if using), and paprika (if using).
  3. Brush the oil mixture over both sides of the salmon fillets.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  5. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down (if using skin-on) in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 8-12 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. Use an instant-read thermometer to check the internal temperature.
  8. Remove the salmon from the air fryer and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
