Instructions:

- Prepare for Cooking: If using a bowl, transfer the rinsed rice to a saucepan. Add 1 ½ cups of water to the rice.
- Cook the Rice: Heat the saucepan over medium-high heat until boiling. Reduce the heat to a simmer and cover. Cook for 15-20 minutes, monitoring water level, adding if necessary.
- Check for Doneness: Taste the rice for texture; adjust cooking time/water as needed.
- Rinse the Rice in Rice Cooker: Add jasmine rice to the rice cooker bowl. Rinse under cold water until it runs clear (5-6 times).
- Add Water in Rice Cooker: Pour in the appropriate amount of water (between 1 cup to 1 ½ cups based on your cooker).
- Cook: Set the rice cooker to cook and allow it to run until the cycle completes (30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on appliance).
