Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh broccoli florets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a large rimmed sheet pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes until every floret is evenly coated.
- Spread the broccoli across the sheet pan in a single layer, leaving at least a half-inch of space between pieces to prevent steaming.
- Roast for 10–12 minutes until the stems are vibrant green and the floret tips are slightly singed.
- Remove the pan from the oven and evenly sprinkle the minced garlic and grated Parmesan cheese over the broccoli.
- Return the pan to the oven for another 3–5 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbling.
