Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Milk (dairy or non-dairy, like almond, coconut, or oat milk)
- 2 tablespoons (28g) Chia Seeds
- 1 teaspoon Sweetener (maple syrup, honey, agave nectar, or stevia, to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
- Optional: 1/4 cup Mixed Berries (fresh or frozen) for Berry Blast
- Optional: 1 tablespoon Cocoa Powder, 1 tablespoon Peanut Butter for Chocolate Peanut Butter Dream
- Optional: 1/4 cup Diced Mango and Pineapple for Tropical Sunrise
- Optional: 1/4 cup Diced Apple, 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon for Cinnamon Apple Pie
- Optional: 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest, 1/2 teaspoon Poppyseeds for Lemon Poppyseed Zest
Instructions:
- In each jar or container, add milk, chia seeds, sweetener, vanilla extract, and salt. Add your chosen flavour variation ingredients to each jar.
- Stir vigorously with a whisk or fork to ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed and there are no clumps.
- Secure the lids on the jars or containers.
- After 30 minutes, give the containers another good shake to prevent the chia seeds from settling.
- Refrigerate overnight (or at least 2 hours). Allow the pudding to thicken in the refrigerator.
- Remove from the refrigerator and enjoy your delicious chia seed pudding!
