Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240ml) Milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 3 tablespoons (45ml) Chia Seeds
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) Maple Syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions:
- In your bowl or jar, combine the milk, chia seeds, maple syrup (or other sweetener), vanilla extract, and salt.
- Whisk or stir vigorously until all ingredients are well combined. Ensure there are no clumps of chia seeds.
- Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes. Stir again to ensure the chia seeds are evenly distributed and prevent clumping.
- Cover the bowl or jar and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
- Before serving, check the consistency. If it's too thick, add a splash of milk to thin it out. If it’s too thin, add a little bit more chia seeds, stir and let it sit for another 30 minutes in the fridge.
- Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
