Ingredients:
- 1.5 lb fresh broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 3/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the broccoli florets with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.
- Toss the mixture thoroughly using hands or tongs until every floret is evenly coated in oil and seasoning.
- Spread the broccoli onto the prepared sheet pan in a single layer, ensuring there is space between the pieces to prevent steaming.
- Roast for 15–20 minutes, tossing the vegetables with a spatula halfway through (around the 10-minute mark) for even browning.
- Remove the pan from the oven once edges are dark brown and florets are tender. Immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice and top with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
