Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz) tilapia fillets (about 170g each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5g)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (5g)
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano (1g)
- 1 teaspoon dried basil (1g)
- ½ teaspoon salt (3g)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper (1g)
- Juice of 1 lemon (about 30ml)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for serving)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easier clean-up (optional).
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
- Place the tilapia fillets on the baking sheet and drizzle the seasoning mixture over them. Use a brush or your hands to ensure the fillets are evenly coated.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the seasoned tilapia.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end for a crispy top (optional).
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
