Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (480ml) plain yogurt (full-fat or Greek yogurt)
  • 1 large ripe mango, peeled and chopped (about 1 1/2 cups/360ml)
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk (whole, 2%, or plant-based)
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom (optional)
  • Ice cubes (as needed)
  • Optional Garnish: Chopped pistachios, fresh mint leaves

Instructions:

  1. Peel and chop the mango into manageable chunks.
  2. In a blender, combine the yogurt, mango chunks, milk, honey (or maple syrup), and cardamom (if using).
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add more milk if needed to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup, if needed.
  5. Add ice cubes to the blender for an extra-cold Lassi. Blend briefly to crush the ice.
  6. Pour into glasses and garnish with chopped pistachios and fresh mint leaves (if desired). Serve immediately.
