Ingredients:

  • 2 shots of espresso (approximately 60 mL)
  • 1 cup water (240 mL) for brewing
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (15 g), adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (120 mL)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (8 g)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (2.5 mL) (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Measure and heat water, then brew 2 shots of espresso. Stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk vigorously or use an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
  3. Pour the hot espresso into mugs. Gently spoon or pipe the whipped cream on top of the espresso.
  4. Optional: Dust with cocoa powder or grated chocolate for garnish.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
