Ingredients:
- 2 oz (60 ml) Aged Jamaican Rum (e.g., Appleton Estate Signature Blend)
- ¾ oz (22 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
- ½ oz (15 ml) Orange Curaçao (preferably Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao)
- ½ oz (15 ml) Orgeat Syrup (almond syrup)
- ¼ oz (7.5 ml) Simple Syrup (Optional)
- Garnish: Lime wedge
- Garnish: Mint sprig
- Garnish: Luxardo Cherry (Optional)
Instructions:
- Add ice to your rocks glass to chill.
- Add all ingredients (rum, lime juice, curaçao, orgeat syrup, simple syrup) to a cocktail shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice.
- Shake well until the shaker is very cold, about 15-20 seconds.
- Empty the ice from the chilled glass, fill with fresh ice, and strain the cocktail into the glass.
- Garnish with a lime wedge, mint sprig, and Luxardo cherry (if desired).
