Ingredients:
- 1.5 pounds (680g) Tilapia fillets, skin on or off, patted dry
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) Olive oil, extra virgin
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced (about 1 teaspoon)
- 1/4 cup (15g) Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup (15g) Fresh oregano, chopped
- 1 Lemon, juiced (about 2-3 tablespoons or 30-45ml) and zested (about 1 teaspoon)
- 1/4 teaspoon Red pepper flakes (optional, for a little kick)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, oregano, lemon juice, lemon zest, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Place Tilapia fillets in the baking dish.
- Evenly spread the herb mixture over the Tilapia fillets, ensuring they are well coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
- Let the fish rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
