Ingredients:

  • 1 lb broccoli florets, cut into uniform pieces
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pat the broccoli florets completely dry after washing.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the baking sheet, ensuring there is space between pieces to prevent steaming. Bake for 15–20 minutes until edges are deep mahogany brown.
  4. Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with lemon zest and grated Parmesan cheese. Toss gently to coat.
