Ingredients:
- 1 lb broccoli florets, cut into uniform pieces
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp lemon zest
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Pat the broccoli florets completely dry after washing.
- In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the baking sheet, ensuring there is space between pieces to prevent steaming. Bake for 15–20 minutes until edges are deep mahogany brown.
- Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with lemon zest and grated Parmesan cheese. Toss gently to coat.
